I shaped each solid copper bead by hand, acid-etching the warm striped texture so they catch the light like the rugged bark of an old tree.

How do I know if it's real copper?
Pure copper isn't magnetic. Most of the copper jewelry sold online is either plated (a thin copper coating over a cheaper metal like steel or brass) or alloyed with enough iron or nickel to make it feel magnetic that's the quickest way to spot a fake.
The test is simple:
- Grab any fridge magnet
- Hold it against your cuff, ring, or necklace
- If it sticks, even slightly, it isn't pure copper
- If it doesn't stick, you're holding the real thing
Every piece I make is 99.9% pure copper, never plated, never alloyed with cheap metals. Run the test on yours the day it arrives. If it ever fails, I'll refund you immediately.
